Author Amy Gillett has taught ESL in the United States and Europe. She has written for many national publications, including the San Francisco Chronice and Family Circle magazine. She holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Stanford University and an MBA from Cornell University. She was recently featured in the Wall Street Journal discussing American slang and which expressions English as a Second Language speakers find most difficult.
