In writing Speak English Like an American, More Speak English Like an American and Speak Business English Like an American, Amy Gillett draws on her years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) in Stamford, Connecticut and in Prague, Czech Republic. Her students were always pleased by her lively teaching style. Now students of English from all over the world are benefiting by using her popular book and CD sets!
Gillett's writing has appeared in many publications, including MAD, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Family Circle. She majored in Slavic Languages and Literature at Stanford University and holds an MBA from Cornell University. She has studied and worked in many countries, including Russia, the Czech Republic, and Italy. Having studied seven languages, she is sympathetic to the struggles of the language student!

Santiago Reynaga has taught English for more than thirteen years at many universities and institutes, including the Catholic University Language Institute and the Inlingua language school. Reynaga has taught English to executives of Bristol Myers, Goodyear, Ely Lilly, Merck and Philip Morris in Lima, Peru. As a professional interpreter, he has worked for many large companies and organizations, including Gateway USA, Winter’s Chocolate Factory, the American Chamber of Commerce of Perú, the Peruvian British Chamber of Commerce, and the Carter Center. Marianna Pascal has taught English as a Second Language (ESL) in Canada, the USA, Australia, and South East Asia. She currently operates her own language school in Malaysia. In addition to teaching, Marianna, from Montreal, Canada, has developed English language course material for Excel Books and Scholani Educational College in Australia, for ELS Language Centers in Malaysia, and for her own school.
